Aroostook County Historical and Art Museum of Houlton
The Aroostook County Historical and Art Museum was founded in 1937 by Ransford W. Shaw.
We are located in the Historic White Memorial Building at 109 Main Street in Houlton, Maine.
Our mission is dedicated to preserving the history and artistic heritage of Aroostook County's shiretown and the surrounding area.
We've been busy with our current digitization project and are adding photos and documents to our digital archive every day.
Take a look around and familiarize yourself with the site.  We are confident that you'll find it very informative.  We've spent months designing and creating content and hope you enjoy it.
Please make sure that you visit our Houlton History page.  It's packed with content that will keep you busy for hours upon end..

We are sorry to announce that we are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the 2020 / 2021  season. We will not be giving tours.

We invite you to check out the virtual tours below, our Galleries, and follow us on Facebook.

We look forward to seeing you in the future.
